Fundraiser Manager

The Kimberly Walker For Congress is seeking a fundraiser manager responsible for assisting and executing a fundraising plan that will enable the campaign to meet its financial goals. The ideal applicant will bring strong attention to detail, sharp analytical skills, and a positive attitude. The position can be remote but prefer someone residing in the state of Florida.

Duties include but not limited to:
  • Work with fundrasing consultants to help develop a fundraising plan.
  • Manage candidate call time:
    • Create a targeted donor list (high, mid, and lower tier)
    • Organization / implementation of call time
    • Create call sheets
  • Manage fundraising events
  • Manage finance communications; create/refine language for all finance communications
Qualifications:
  • Prior campaign fundraising experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Field Organizer/Volunteer Coordinator (2 positions)

The Kimberly Walker For Congress is seeking a field organizer responsible for educating and turning out voters in the community. The role requires significant creative digital and in-person engagement to increase voter participation. The campaign encourages local residents to apply for field organizer roles in their communities.

Duties include but not limited to:
  • Recruit and manage local volunteers
  • Build grassroots support coalitions in assigned regions
  • Work with other areas of the campaign to plan a comprehensive community and voter organizing strategy for your assigned region
  • Manage and execute texting initiatives.
  • Attend virtual community engagement meetings
  • Ensure daily call time to voters
  • Assist with additional volunteer contact, recruitment and other activities as required
Qualifications:
  • Must be a go-getter and relationship-builder — this role is about organizing community support
  • Capable of motivating and managing volunteers
  • Ability to work as a team with diverse groups of people
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Communications/Social Media Manager

The Kimberly Walker For Congress is seeking a communications/social media manager to handle all campaign messaging, interact with the press on behalf of the campaign, and write press releases. This position can be remote but prefer applicant reside in the state of Florida.

Duties include but not limited to:
  • Building relationships with the press corps
  • Set up interview opportunities for the candidate
  • Maintaining Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Writing for internal and external communications (fundraising letters, newsletters, emails, print collateral, website, social media, etc.)
Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal communications skills and demonstrated ability to write clearly and persuasively
  • Must be a detail­oriented, self­starting professional
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of social media platforms
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
